Professional Experience

Christy Pierce has over 25 years experience in public accounting and private industry including 11 years with a Big Eight accounting firm and three years with an Atlanta real estate company.  Christy formed her own public accounting practice in 1994 which merged into Braver Schimler Pierce Jenkins LLP in 2004.

Christy’s experience includes consultation and planning for complex tax situations involving individuals, estates, and business or investment groups.  She considers all aspects of each situation, including financial position and related business effect, to make wise overall decisions for the group.

Christy works with many small and mid size businesses and high net worth individuals and families.  She specializes in income tax planning and compliance and works with clients in the real estate industry, including residential, commercial, industrial, shopping center, and apartment developers and investors.
