Knowledge that connects you with tax savings

“Before I begin a climb, I carefully examine the cliff to see how the rock is formed, so I can plan a route to the top. I take that same approach to helping clients save tax — careful analysis of their situation in light of the latest tax law changes to formulate strategies that fit their particular situation.”

Experience

Before joining BSPJ in 2002, Marshall worked for another Atlanta CPA firm for six years. His more than 12 years of experience in providing tax planning, compliance, financial reporting, and consulting services has given him a strong knowledge of ways to help clients minimize taxes and build their wealth.

Expertise

Marshall is an expert in developing and implementing strategies that maximize tax benefits for individuals and businesses, especially those in the real estate industry. He is also very knowledgeable about estate and gift tax planning, employment and business taxes, and international tax issues.

Approach

In Marshall’s view, accounting is not only about technical expertise, but also about building personal relationships with clients that deepen his understanding of their needs, situation and aspirations. To this effect, he works closely with clients throughout the year to add value to their organizations, to keep abreast of developments that may affect their tax liability, and to make sure they take advantage of every opportunity to reduce their tax liability.
